In an attempt to highlight the delightfulness of European gardens, and especially the French ones, until July 24th, 2017, the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées will be putting on exhibition a diverse selection of works that marked the history of garden art.
Simply called “Jardins”, meaning gardens in the French language, the exhibition offers attendees the chance to discover rare pieces and to explore some of the finest works, which were created by preeminent artists, starting from the Renaissance until the present day.
From paintings and drawings to sculptures, photographs, and films, “Jardins” will introduce you to an astonishing variety of great works that demonstrate how nature and art are, actually, strongly connected.
Wonderful masterpieces by renowned art figures like Monet, Matisse, Durer, Fragonard, Cézanne, Klimt, and Picasso, are present, at the museum on the occasion of this special exhibition. So, if you’re staying at our cozy Hotel Riviera Elysées Paris anytime between now and July 24, just mark “Jardins” on your to-do list and don’t hesitate to pay a visit to the Grand Palais.
