From Watteau to David, the Horvitz Collection

The renowned Parisian landmark and museum, the Petit Palais, will be displaying, until July 09th, 2017, the private collection of the American collector Jeffrey Horvitz. 

More than 200 notable pieces, dating back to the 18th century and collected by Horvitz over a period of three decades, are on view at the museum, including works by prominent French artists who marked the history of art such as Watteau, Boucher, Fragonard, Greuze and David. In addition to that, an overview of all the remarkable artists of the 18th century is provided. Among them, Oudry, De Troy, Natoire, Bouchardon, Hubert Robert, and Vincent.
